The Lion King t shirt illustration

I illustrated this t shirt design image for a children’s theater production of The Lion King using existing silhouette character images coupled with  illustrations I recreated of traditional African patterns in order to match the style of the layout. This is one of my favorite t shirt illustrations I’ve produced. The background color simply represents the color of t shirt it was printed on. I also included some of the play’s African language along with it’s meaning ‘Remember who you are,’ which is the play’s overall theme and has special meaning to those in the play that received the t shirt.
